Seamless Multi-Surface Paint Satin Black provides a tough, elegant satin finish ideal for wood, metal, plastic, UPVC, and masonry. Its advanced formula ensures exceptional adhesion, weather resistance, and long-lasting colour retention on multiple surfaces. Perfect for both interior and exterior projects. Available in 1L and 2.5L sizes.

Surface Preparation

Achieving optimal results begins with thorough preparation

1. Ensure Cleanliness:Surfaces should be clean, dry and free from contaminants like dust, dirt, grease and wax.
2. Remove Defective Coatings:Scrape off any loose or failing paint. Address any algal, mould or fungal growths with an appropriate wash.
3. Enhance Adhesion on Glossy Surfaces:Lightly sand smooth or shiny areas to improve bonding.
4. Prepare Bare Metal:Clean bare metal surfaces of rust, scale and dust before applying a primer.
5. Condition Weathered Wood:Allow presure-treated wood to weather for a minimum of six months. Abrade denatured wood to expose new fibres.
6. Treat Porous Materials:Thin the initial coat with up to 20% clean water for untreated wood, new timber, cement, plaster or brickwork. If staining a concern, a stain-blocking primer should be applied first.
7. Conduct Staining Tests:Always test a small patch for potential staining and treat knots appropriately.

Application Guidelines

• Brush:Best for intricate details and touch-ups.
• Roller:Efficient for large areas; chose the right nap for the surface texture.
• Spray:Compatible with airless and conventional spray systems. Adjust settings (for airless use 2500 psi with a tip size of 13-15 thou) for best results.
• Coverage:Approximatley 12 - 14 m² per litre per coat when applied with a brush or roller. Spraying may reduce coverage to around 6 - 8 m² per litre pedending on the equipment used.
• Drying Time:Typically dries in 2 - 4 hours and can be recoated after 4 hours at 18°C and 65% relative humidity. Maximumhardness can take up to one month.
• Clean-Up:Immediately wash tools with warm, soapy water after use ensuring to remove as much product before cleaning.

Health & Safety

Store the container upright in a cool, frost-free enviroment above 5°C. Secure the lid tightly to avoid leaks.

General Precautions:

This coating is not intended for areas exposed to constant water or heavy traffic nor for surfaces previously treated with water-repellent products. It is suitable for indoor glass but not for external applications and is not recommended for horizontal decking.
